Next Stop Spanish Wells

April 7 - 12, 2016

Spanish Wells is a commercial fishing village and has a lobster processing facility providing over one half of the lobster consumed in the Bahamas. It's a very tidy and colorful village. We stayed at Spanish Wells Yacht Haven which has been completely remodeled and is now a 4-star facility. There is daily ferry service to Nassau and Harbour Island. We took a day trip to Harbour Island which is a beautiful place with famous pink sand beaches, houses and local crafts. Spanish Wells was our point of departure for the 50 mile open ocean crossing to Abaco. Next stop...Pete's Pub at Little Harbour, Great Abaco Island!!
